    This movie shows the background of civil war chaos in 1990's Sierra Leone, Danny Archer, a South African mercenary, and Solomon Vandy, a fisherman are on the same mission that is to recover a rare pink diamond. Meanwhile Archer, who in the prison for smuggling finds out that Solomon, who was taken from his family and was forced to work in the diamond fields, has found and hidden the exceptional rough stone that is worth more then he can even think of.

    Maddy Bowen is an American journalist whose idealism is tempered by a deepening connection with Archer. Maddy ready to help Archer, the two men go on board on a trail through rebel territory. A journey that could save Solomon's family and also give Archer the second chance that he thought he would never have.
