Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Bratz

Four teenage girls, who are best friends, enter a new high school as freshmen together. There are four main characters in this film who are the “Bratz'. They are Sasha (played by Logan Browning), Jade (played by Janel Parrish), Yasmin (played by Natalia Ramos), and Cloe (played by Skyler Shaye). On the morning of the first day of high school they consult each other, using video chat, about what they will wear. Yasmin's mother gives her a new pair of shoes. Sasha's parents are divorced and they don't speak to each other except through Sasha. Jade's mother is Chinese and wants her daughter to excel in math, science, and play classical violin. Cloe arrives last at the high school by bicycle and is clumsy. Jade asks the other girls to cover her while she changes from conservative clothes her mother forces her to wear, into fashionable clothes she likes to wear.

The school student body president is Meredith (played by Chelsea Staub) who is also the daughter of Principal Dimly (played by Jon Voight). Cameron (played by Stephen Lunsford) works as her assistant at the freshman spot-check, helping divide the kids into forty different clique groups. The four girls pass the freshman spot-check without stopping to be put in a group and turn heads as they walk by. Jade walks into chemistry class looking very hot and makes a wonderful fireworks display as a chemistry experiment impressing the geeks. Sasha tries-out for the cheerleading squad, upstaging all the other girl's with her moves. Yasmin joins the women's soccer team and drives down the field shooting an amazing goal with a back kick. Cameron and Meredith see what she does. Cameron says Cloe is hot and Meredith gets jealous. Jade makes a hot red dress for her professor in the home economics class. Cloe thinks about joining the chorus but remembers she threw up in kindergarten singing in “Mary Had a Little Lamb” so she is afraid to join the chorus. She runs into a guy who is deaf, named Dylan (played by Ian Nelson) in the hall. They insult each other. The four girls ignore the advice of the student body president Meredith and refuse to be assigned tables at lunch. They are already popular and invited to tables by the other students.

The girls get so busy with other activities they don't have time for each other. Two years go by and they have separate lives at school . Yasmin misses the times she used to have with her friends. Meredith the student body president announces a talent contest with the grand prize a full college scholarship to the school of their choice. Sasha slips on a skate board and throws food on Yasmin. This starts a huge food fight. The bust statue of Principal Dimly gets broken in the melee. The four girls have to go to detention for causing the problem. They fight in detention about how they stopping being friends. Yasmin reminds them they are friends and they become friends again. They talk about the clique groups and how they got separated. The decide to be friends again. All their groups do not know what to do when they are no longer in their proper groups. They get isolated by all the others. They become friends with all the others. The nerds become more popular, the jocks become smarter, and Meredith gets more jealous based on their friendly efforts. Meredith decides to throw a party to regain control over the school. Yasmin's brother gives Meredith a video of Yasmin singing “La Cucaracha” with her mom while Yasmin is wearing an avocado mask on her face

Cloe and Dylan start to like each other. The four girls decide not to go to the party if they are forced to be in their clique groups by Meredith. Cloe's mom has to cater the party but she is so tired the girls decide to help her. Her servers cannot make it so the girls decide to fill in. They have to dress as clowns. They change their stupid clown outfits into hot clown fashion. Meredith enters the party riding on an elephant. When the girls enter the party they upstage Meredith. Meredith wins the audience attention back with a dance number called “Fabulous.” She invites Yasmin to stage to sing, knowing Yasmin is terrified of performing on stage. Yasmin runs off stage. Meredith plays the video tape of La Cucaracha. At first everyone laughs, then Dylan gets them all to dance. Dylan tires to kiss Cloe but is interrupted by Meredith. Meredith trips and falls into her cake. The elephant kicks Meredith into the pool.

When they go back to school the girls are given an ultimatum by their groups, if they don't go back to the proper groups they will be rejected. They decide to perform in the talent show together as the band called the “Bratz.” Meredith threatens Yasmin with revealing bad things about Cloe if she does not pull out of the show. Yasmin tells the other girls she will not perform to protect Cloe. Yasmin loses her friends and Dylan because they cannot understand why she would back out of the performance. Yasmin decides to tell her friends what Meredith is threatening her with. They decide to perform in spite of this. Meredith has selected all the worst performers possible to go up against her. Meredith does a big stage number called “You Know it's All About Me.” The Bratz show up and want to perform. Meredith has all the dirt on the girls. Meredith tries to get all the girls in trouble. But it backfires. All the audience supports the girls and some confess surprising things about themselves. The Bratz perform the show finale “Bratitude” to a standing ovation. They declare a tie for the winner of the talent show. Meredith gets the trophy. The Bratz get the scholarship and they give it to Cloe so she can go to college. A MTV producer in the audience invites the Bratz to perform on the red carpet for a movie premiere.
Best part of story, including ending: This movie is silly and cute. All the troubles of the girls seem so big in their lives, but really aren't so big after all.

Best scene in story: I like the food fight scene at the high school because everyone loves a good food fight.

Opinion about the main character: All the girls find themselves and their inner spirit to express their true nature which is quite charming.
