Jimmy is working with the shadowy Marvin (Caan). With the heat on and still in possession of his passport, he flees in search of Marvin who is somewhere in Southeast Asia. Jimmy winds up in Cambodia, trying to arrange a meeting with Marvin through his associate Kaspar (Skarsgard). While cooling his heels, Jimmy holes up in a funky hotel run by an eccentric French expat (Depardieu) and meets a stunning preservationist (McElhone). He also finds someone is trying to double cross and kill him. But who?
The folk music mentioned is Asian-flavored folk and popular music. Tyler Bates has done an incredible job.
