DÉDÉE D'ANVERS, sometimes translated as "Dédée" or "Woman of Antwerp" in english speaking countries, is a movie cowritten and directed by Yves Allégret in 1947. This film was nominated for the Golden Lion at the 1948 Venice Film Festival.

Simone -Dédée- Signoret is a French prostitute who works at Bernard Blier's bar on Antwerp's harbour. Her pimp, Marcel Dalio, often beats her in order to be respected. One day, she meets an Italian sailor who treats her differently. Both fall madly in love and plan to leave Antwerp on the next day. But Dalio won't so easily abandon Dédée and the money she daily brings home.
