Two convicts, Piper and Dodge, end up chained together and when a prison riot breaks out, the opportunity to escape becomes available. They need to find a computer disk as well as a large amount of money before they are captured. Their lives are in danger and they really never become aware of it. In the course of their travels, they get to know each other better and they find out that they are not only being chased by the police, but by the Cuban mafia as well.
