Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Hall Pass

Two married women, who are best friends, Grace (played by Christina Applegate) and Maggie (played by Jenna Fischer) decide their relationships with their husbands would be improved if they give them a "Hall Pass" that allows them to have sex with other women but only for a week. The two husbands, who are also best friends, Fred (played by Jason Sudeikis) and Rick (played by Owen Wilson) at first are surprised that their wives would offer such freedom, but they accept the offer when they realize their wives are serious.

Getting back into the hook-up single action is not as easy as the guys think. The first night of their newly found freedom they eat too much, get sleepy early and don't have the energy to go out to the clubs. The second day they try to get loose by eating pot brownies while they play golf which makes them go nuts on the golf course. The third day the go out to Hooters, get blasted and instead of going home with any women they get in a fight with the other customers. The next day which is the fourth one, they have a massive hangover which leaves them wiped out incapable of doing anything. Finally on the sixth day, Rick starts to make progress when he meets Leigh (played by Nicky Whelan) but he changes his mind and does not go out with her. Meanwhile, Fred and Rick's wives are letting themselves enjoy the temporary freedom by getting hot for an athletic guy named Gerry (played by Tyler Hoechlin) and his coach.

Rick has lots of chances to cheat on his wife but for a variety of reasons cannot consummate the act. Mostly it is because he loves his wife. Maggie has the same problem when she is with Gerry. Gerry is really handsome, makes all the right moves but she just is not interested. After all the freedom, Rick and Maggie reaffirm their love for each other realizing they both do not want to be with anyone else. Both Fred and Grace give in to their carnal desires but end up finding out that they love each other as well.
Best part of story, including ending: The funny thing about this story, that sets up all the comedy, is that the wives give their husbands permission to cheat on them.

Best scene in story: I like the scene when Rick and Fred get so high on pot brownies that they wreck the golf course because it is very funny.

Opinion about the main character: Rick, when given freedom to mess around with other women by his wife, rediscovers his love for her and this does improves their relationship.
