This story is about a group of young adults that decide to camp out before attending a football game and contend with small town horrors in the form of two killers that have an obsession for wax. The house of wax is a horror movie about six teenagers who want to go to a football game, but due to traffic they decide to camp for the night in a field which is a deserted region. The main character here is Carly Jones which is played by Elisha Cuthbert. She is the main connector relationship wise. This includes her boyfriend Wade, her friend Paige, her boyfriend Blake, twin brother Nick and finally his friend Dalton. He is accompanied by Carly, and the group is soon thrown into a set of weird circumstances. Carla is taken prisoner while Wade s also covered with hot molten wax. One by one the six are hunted down by a vicious pair of killers, who had killed the townsfolk and made wax dummies out of them. Four of the six are killed including the ones at the campsite. Carly and her twin brother; Nick overhear that the killers are actually brothers who had begun the waxing business from their mother but Bo, the violent brother had urges to kill. In the end, Carly and her brother escape the nightmare situation by burning down the house and killing Bo and Vincent in the process.
Best part of story, including ending:
I do not like that there was no implication of survival of the killers, which would imply a sequel to the first movie.
Best scene in story:
My favorite scene was when Carry was imprisoned in basement of the gas station and her brother was asking the attendant for her. The attendant: "Bo" sees her trying to get attention by prying a finger up the vents and reaches don and cuts it off rather calmly as if he were picking up something.
Opinion about the main character:
The main character should have shown more strength as the protagonist in the story.
