Detailed plot synopsis reviews of I Think I Love my Wife

This is the story is a man who really loves his wife but is having a hard time trying not to cheat on her with a female friend. Richard Cooper is married to Brenda Cooper and they have two kids together. Their marriage is however not a smooth one because they are having problems in the bedroom. His wife accuses him of not being able to satisfy her and this leaves him frustrated and always fantasizing about having sex with other women while in the office.

He meets his long time friend Nikki and she makes life quite difficult for him since she is constantly making advances. Her frequent visits to his office create suspicion with his boss and other colleagues. Her advances keep growing and Richard seems to be falling away. The worst comes when he decides to tag her along to a business trip. This ends dramatically since he gets into a fight with Nikki's boyfriend, gets hurt and ends up losing on a very important business deal as he is not able to arrive on time for the presentation. Despite all this Nikki still insists that they should remain friends and Richard is unable to object.
Nikki and her boyfriend decide to move out of town and she invites Richard over to her place, claiming that she needs to say goodbye. When he arrives, he finds Nikki in a bikini, ready to have sex with him. This is a very hard time for Richard because he has not been getting it from his wife and is starving as a result. After a moment of indecisiveness, he manages to escape from the house and heads home where is decides to mend the emotional gap that had developed between him and his wife. He realizes that despite the animosity between them, he loves his wife and that is why he could not afford to cheat on her.
Best part of story, including ending: I like this story because it brings out the power of love between a married couple.

Best scene in story: My favorite scene is when Richard gets into a fight with Nikki's boyfriend. This is a defining moment for him since he realizes that Nikki can never be the love of his life. It also occurs to him that she is only trying to take advantage of him.

Opinion about the main character: I like the fact that Richard is able to rise above his fantasies and protect his family
