Gabe (Josh Hutcherson) is an eleven-year old boy with Manhattan as his playground. He navigates Central Park and the neighborhood streets on his scooter and loves the city he calls home. He lives with his parents Adam (Bradley Whitford) and Leslie (Cynthia NIxon) who care for him dearly. Everything is fine until he meets Rosemary (Charlie Ray) at his Karate class. He falls in love for the first time and experiences the highs and lows of puppy love. Gabe is also thrown in for a loop when his parents decide to get a divorce. As he tries to process his feelings for Rosemary and his parents, he has no other choice but to grow up.
