Maborosi Movie Review Summary

Yumiko lives in a poor neighborhood with her husband Ikuo and their three months old baby. The couple seems very happy until the day Ikuo apparenty commits suicide while coming home from work. Six years later, Yumiko agrees to marry Tamio who lives in a small town near the ocean. But the young woman hasn't forgotten her first husband and still tries to understand why Ikuo killed himself without warning and without leaving a note explaining his motives.
