Tom convinces Bill that it would be a good idea to hire a couple of actors to kidnap B-Rad and scare him straight. And Tom does just that by hiring PJ (Anthony Anderson) and Sean (Taye Diggs), two actors who were in an anti-violence commercial with Bill. They get five thousand dollars from Tom and upon the safe return a straightened out B-Rad they would get another twenty five thousand. Sean and PJ are not gang bangers so they come up with a plan to convince PJ's cousin Shondra to help them trick B-Rad. She agrees and Shondra tricks B-Rad into coming with her to meet some top rappers so he could push his demo. PJ and Sean then car-jack Shondra and B-Rad and take them back to her house. They try to get B-Rad to act white but their plan just isn't working out.

They eventually take B-Rad to a night club where Shondra was hanging out with her girlfriend. She gets confronted by her ex-boyfriend Tec who is a hardcore gang banger. B-Rad defends Shondra because he likes her and Tec then thinks that she is sleeping with him. B-Rad is then humiliated at the club during a rap competition and he leaves dejected with Shondra, PJ and Sean. They take him back to the house where he has a dream that makes him believe he should stick to acting the way he is, his true self.
