Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Mr. Destiny

This is a simple, somewhat predictable, yet still entertaining story of an office clerk Larry Burrows (James Belushi) who is bored with his simple life and wishes he had done things differently. A mysterious Mr. Destiny (Michael Caine) offers him a chance to do that. Suddenly, Larry has everything he ever wished for: a fantastic house, a gorgeous wife, all kinds of cars, and money to burn. But guess what? This wonderful new life also turns out to be full of trouble, and regrets. Larry sees that the change has affected many people he knew, mostly in a bad way. He sees that his father is divorced, and his friend John almost commits suicide. Larry reaches the point where he wants to be the average Joe again, he wants his old life back.
