A guy who is afraid of commitment falls in love with his best friend's girl. Tank is a cocky, arrogant guy who is hired by boyfriends who want their girlfriends back. Tank's M.O. is to take the girl on the most terrible date of her life so that she'll go back to her ex-boyfriend. His best friend Dustin falls in love with a co-worker Alexis who only sees him as a friend. Dustin reluctantly hires Tank to do his dirty work, but surprisingly, when he and Alexis go out, Alexis is not as repulsed by him as one would expect. They eventually have a casual relationship behind Dustin's back, and Tank starts to like her. When Alexis takes Tank as her date to her sister's wedding, things are discovered, since the groom used to be one of tank's "customers." Alexis has fallen for Tank, but Tank feels terribly guilty and calls things off with her. Months later, they run into each other again, knowing full well that things were left for the best and they just engage in snappy banter.

Best part of story, including ending:
I like Alexis since she's so game and outgoing.
Best scene in story:
When Tank's gross behavior leaves Alexis unfazed.
Opinion about the main character:
No matter how shameless Tank is, he apparently still has a conscience.
