In the movie Olympus Has Fallen the main character Mike Banning is a former presidential guard who lost his position as a guard due to a tragic accident in the opening of the movie. Mike Banning had a friendly relationship with the President Benjamin Asher, however the sight of him triggered memories of Margaret, the Presidents wifes death. Months later Banning works as at the Treasury Department near the White House. Kang Yeonask is a North American terrorist disguised as a South Korean ministerial aide. Kangs only motive is to bring down the United States of America. In doing so, the White House is a target of a terrorist attack. President Benjamin is kidnapped, and Banning breaks into the White House. Now he needs to save the presidents son that is being chased by terrorists that want to use the child to give away the access code to powerful weapons to bring down the U.S. Banning then is insistent upon saving the President and the United States of America.

Best part of story, including ending:
What I liked about Olympus has Fallen is the amount of suspense you witness while watching the movie. It has quite a bit of intensity and the story line leaves you wondering what the outcome of the movie will be.
Best scene in story:
There are many scenes in the movie that I enjoyed but one in particular is the ending fight scene between Mike Banning and Kang.
Opinion about the main character:
I enjoyed the main character because of his cleverness and his ability to find a way to help the president escape from the White House. Mike Banning has much in depth knowledge on the inside works of the White House and uses as much knowledge to find a way to make the man responsible for the kidnapping of the president to surrender.
