Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Prizzi's Honor

Prizzi's Honor is a very dark comedy of love and murder for two star-crossed professional killers. A slow-witted mob hit man for the Prizzi crime syndicate, Charley Partanna (Nicholson) is good at what he does. When he dumps his long time girlfriend Maerose Prizzi (Huston) for ‘tax accountant' Irene Walker (Turner), Maerose is none too pleased at the turn of events and harbors a deep grudge against her former beau. She happens to be the misfit granddaughter of the head of the “family” Don Corrado (Hickey)). Walker turns out to be a killer for hire now employed by the Prizzi's. For a while true love allows them to overcome the obstacles they face as a newly married couple who just happen to commit murder for a living. For having violated the Mafia code of honor each falls from grace with the Don. Once it is learned that they must take out the other, the relationship becomes a bit strained to say the least.
