Riff, the rebellious leader is obsessed with The Ramones. She writes songs and schemes to get them to the band. She skips school for 3 days and waits in line for tickets to a Ramones concert.
Kate, Riff's best friend covers for her with the new tyrannical principal, Miss Togar.
Riff bought hundreds of tickets and handed them out to all of the students.
Miss Togar, to punish Riff and Kate, took away their tickets and donated them to the local radio station to give away.
Ironically, Riff and Kate win the tickets. They go to the concert and meet the Ramones.
The next day at school, Miss Togar and all of the parents stage a protest against rock n roll.
The Ramones show up and they and the students take over the school. They trash the school and end up blowing it up.
Miss Togar, like the long line of principals before her, suffered her own nervous breakdown.
