'The Scorpion King 2: Rise Of A Warrior' is directed by Russell Mulcahy and released in 2008. This is the second part of the famous 'The Scorpion King' acted by our favorite The Rock, Dwayne Johnson. The story is about the rise of a boy who will one day become the scorpion king, The Rock in the next movie. In this part, The young Rock, Mathayus witnesses his father's murder by a magical evil man filled with black scorpions. He vows to avenge his father's death. Young Rock has become a member of the Black Scorpions. His father's murderer character 'Sargon' has killed the previous king for the throne. After that young Rock flees from his own land. He travels to Egypt with a pretty lady friend Layla. They travel to the underworld with a group where they face the angry goddess Astarte. Young Rock finds a sword. Astarte tries to kill Layla, then Mathayus frees her and they escape. Astarte orders the evil king Sargon to get that sword back, and Sargon asks her for more dark powers. In a fighting with Sargon, Mathayus burns off his scorpion tattoo with the sword. Sargon turns into a scorpion and fights back. Young Rock kills him with the sword. Goddess Astarte tells Mathayus that she will kill him, and young Rock Mathayus tells her that she will have him in future.

Best part of story, including ending:
I liked the previous movie 'The Scorpion King'. So I need to watch this second part based on the childhood of the scorpion king. Well written but could have been better.
Best scene in story:
When Mathayus fights with the Sargon and Sargon turns into a giant scorpion.
Opinion about the main character:
The character of Mathayus is full of mercy and bravery. A perfect character every king should have.
