Two middle-aged guys head off on a road trip through California wine country (Solvang area NOT Sonoma / Napa). One is getting over a traumatic divorce and the other is about to get married. The divorced guy, who is sunk in depression, fancies himself as a wine expert and wants his buddy to take wine tasting seriously, while the about-to-be-married guy fancies himself as a sexual athlete and wants nothing more than for his buddy to get laid. He himself is determined to seduce every woman in sight despite his impending marriage, and has a certain charm which allows the audience to sympathise with him despite his bad behaviour. Along come two attractive women and adventures ensue.
