Claire (Sara Paxton) and Luke (Pat Healy) are desk clerks at The Yankee Peddler Hotel - a supposedly haunted hotel that is now closing down - during its last weekend open.

There are only a few guests. One is a woman with a son trying to get away from her soon to be ex-husband. Another is a former television star with a bad temper and a secret.
With only one weekend left, Claire and Luke decide to set off to prove that Madeline O'Malley, a woman who died in the hotel and stalks the grounds as a ghost, really does exist - saving the hotel once and for all.
