Detailed plot synopsis reviews of The Mighty Quinn

THE MIGHTY QUINN is a movie directed by Carl Schenkel in 1988.

Denzel Washington stars as Xavier Quinn, the chief of police of this little Jamaican town. When a wealthy American tourist is murdered in a local resort, Quinn's best friend, Maubee, is suspected right away of the murder. Quinn is not so sure of that but he knows that Maubee was in the victim's room at the time of the murder and that he stole a wallet. Soon, a South American hitman and a strange American official arrive in the island and start searching for Maubee. Chief Quinn, although he's asked by the governor not to be too smart in this case, goes on with his investigation and discovers that the wallet stolen by Maubee contains a great deal of money in $10,000 bills.
