Frank(Josh Brolin) escapes from his prison sentence when he jumps out a 2 story hospital window after having his appendix taken out. He meets a woman and her son at a grocery store and carefully asks if he can have a ride to their home to stay and rest his leg that has been injured from the window jump. As it turns out Frank knows how to cook and cooks the woman and her son chili while they are tied up. The woman and her son begin to realize that Frank is a kind person who just caught up in the wrong type of crime. There are several flashbacks throughout the movie which are indicative of his past and also hers. They begin to see in each other something they both have lost. They fall in love just in time for the police to show up at the front door.

Best part of story, including ending:
I loved this story. It is a beautiful tale of two [ep[;e who have completely lost themselves and reunite in each other. The past is the past and only the future and what lies ahead matters.
Best scene in story:
My favorite scene is when they are making a peach pie. It is a scene that focuses on hands. It is very sensual and warm. They two main characters really connect during this powerful and delicious scene.
