Richie is a poor college student who has been paying his way through college with online gambling and affiliate sales of a gambling site. But when he gets caught promoting gambling on campus he almost gets kicked out of school and is forbiddent from even talking to anyone about gambling on campus. He's got to get enough money to pay off the rest of his tuition and have money to live though so he takes what is left of his savings and goes on an all night gambling spree - and loses it all.

He's convinced that he's been scammed so he heads off to Costa Rica to find Ivan Block to let him know that that someone on his gambling site is ripping people off. Block offers him a job that he can't refuse and he quits college to stay in Costa Rica and work for Block.
At first all is good but it doesn't take long before they start going in the other direction and Richies is in a lot of trouble. His very life is a risk and he's got to find a way to get out of the business - fast!
Best part of story, including ending:
I loved the action. This movie always has a new twist and turn and Richie never sees it coming. He is a very smart guy but he just wants to believe that he can get rich doing stuff he loves.
Best scene in story:
I loved the scene at the beginning where Richie is in his dorm late at night trying to win enough money to pay for his tuition. It is an energy filled scene that is very exciting.
Opinion about the main character:
Richie is just a poor kid that is trying to think creatively to reach his dreams. He's somene that most of us can identify with and he is easy to root for throughout the movie.
