Pitch Perfect is musical comedy starring Anna Kendrick as Beca Mitchell a freshman who's forced to attend Barden University and join their all female a capella group Barden Bellas - at the behest of her father. She doesn't want to but does so anyway as he said he would pay for her to move to Los Angeles after a year if she no longer wants to remain at college.

After a minor scuffle after a competition Beca is arrested and when her friend Jesse (Skylar Astin) calls her father to help which infuriates Beca, and puts a riff between the two. Then fellow Barden Bella, Aubrey Posen (Anna Camp) quits due to Beca providing a back up track to one of the group's more traditional songs. So it's up to Beca to reconcile with Jessie and get the Bellas back on track for the national competition.
Best part of story, including ending:
Didn't like it as it was the traditional child forced to do something by parent and the child ends up liking it.
Best scene in story:
The scuffle after the competition.
Opinion about the main character:
That she does what she feels like, for instance the scuffle and providing the backup track.
