Bounty hunter Sam McKade is on a mission to earn money to buy a cabin for his crippled friend. When he sees fugitive Kaylee MacPherson walk right past him onto a plane, he chases after her. He follows her to her sister's home in Washington, where he takes her into custody. At least he thinks he does. In actuality, he abducts her identical twin, Catherine.

She tries to explain the terrible mistake that he's made to him, but he doesn't believe her. And to make things worse, he's not the only one that believes Catherine to be her sister. Kaylee has heard things that she wasn't supposed to have heard, and as a result there is a hitman after Catherine along with the bounty hunter.
Catherine and Sam quickly find themselves in the middle of a love affair, and Catherine must convince him of her identity and the threat that she's in before it's too late.
