Isabel, a herbalist, living in St. Augustine, Florida in the 1880s sells the trading post building she owns after her stepfather's death. Little does she know that the new owner is Cooper Adair, a druggist, just arrived from Philadelphia. Cooper plans to open a drug store in the building in direct competition with Isabel.
