Karinda Michaels is on a paid two week vacation in the mountains of Tennessee at a resort called Razor's Edge. She and her dog, Frog, arent expecting anything more than just a nice relaxing time. But chaos suddenly erupts one morning when she and Frog are shot at and consequently meet the resort's owner, Razor Edgeton, throwing them into a tailspin, "run-for-their-lives" situation. Neither Razor or Karinda know why killers are hot on their trail, but they flee through the rugged mountains, trying to stay just one step ahead of sure death.

Along with having to fight for their lives, they find themselves fighting a mutual sexual attraction for each other. And as the action heats up, so does their feelings for one another.
Luck is on their side in their race for survival, as Razor has extensive military training and friends that are there to help thwart the bad guys. Finishing in a big showdown with the killers, Razor and Karinda finally discover the reason behind the threat.
