Royal Flush Book Summary and Study Guide

Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Royal Flush

Edward de Jersey is a self-made millionaire who has risen from humble beginnings as an East End kid to owning and working one of the most prestigious racing studs in England. He keeps his past well hidden especially how he came to achieve the millions it took to buy his stables. Then tragedy strikes, his financial advisor in whom he allowed too much freedom invested unwisely in a computer company. The result is disastrous – most of de Jersey's fortune disappears overnight along with that of two of his colleagues from his former life of crime.   De Jersey had always masterminded the crimes such as train robberies and gold bullion heists and gotten away with them, so neither he nor his two friends have a record. De Jersey is a man obsessed by a dream of winning the Derby and this year he has a colt who can do it. Driven by his obsession and his desire for revenge for the wrongs a ruthless con artist wreaked on him, he initiates the crime of the millennium.
