The divers find Russian cruise missiles in the ship, and find themselves battling an international arms smuggler who is equipped with the latest in underwater high-technology devices, including an electric U-boat developed by a German engineer.
To compound the divers' problems, a fierce Arctic storm threatens to capsize the salvage vessel. The divers are trapped inside a pressurized capsule, and they face certain death, if they leave the capsule before decompressing.
Larry Miles becomes the only man who can prevent a rogue state from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
