Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Scandal Between the Sheets

Jasmine Carmody is a Savannah reporter on the hunt of a juicy political scandal. When Jasmine is assigned to investigate the wealthy Danforth family, and in particular, Abraham Danforth, who has thrown his hat into the political arena, she is willing to do anything to uncover the Danforth family scandals. What she hasn't counted on is encountering handsome, wealthy Wesley Brooks, a close friend of the Danforth family who has appointed himself as her watchdog. From their first encounter Jasmine feels a strong attraction to the mesmerizing Wesley, but when he discovers that she is a reporter focused on digging up dirt on the Danforths, he vows to shadow her every move.

Despite the initial friction, neither Jasmine nor Wesley can ignore their sizzling attraction. As Jasmine grows closer to Wesley, she starts to lean on him and finds him a sensitive partner. Jasmine has been supressing all the pain she has felt due to her father's remarriage and her stepmother and stepsister's hostility towards her. When a skeleton is discovered at the Danforth mansion, the press goes wild and Jasmine is torn between her role as a reporter and as Wesley's lover. As the stakes become higher and higher, Jasmine must decide if Wesley's love is stronger than her professional aspirations. This is a tender story, touching and realistic. Jasmine is a plucky heroine and Wesley is a decent, loving man with standards. I highly recommend this novel!
