In his path across the sea, Sackett must face the dangerous pirate, Nick Bardle, among others. Once setting foot on American soil Barnabas and his comrades must also take on the extra challenges of facing Mother Nature and fierce Indian tribes. But this is a story of the strong men and women that settled unknown lands. They had an inner drive and determination to explore, to learn, to grow, to conquer or, to die trying.
