Anne Rice Message Board

JT posts on 9/27/2005 3:57:28 AM I have one message about angels posted below. The rest are by someone else. JT.
Brian Baxter Smith posts on 9/27/2005 3:31:37 AM No that it matters, nor do I really care, but just to set the record straight: I did not author the last two messages attributed to me. I only learned the term "ARC" quite recently (I learned this here, as a matter of fact), and I have absolutely no interest in advanced copies of Christ the Lord or how much they might sell for. I am waiting patiently for November 1st and have reserved a copy at my local library. Furthermore, although I admit I've spoken the word "ain't", I've never and would never write it. lol I'm not exactly sure what's going on with these "Barb Franklin" and "JT" characters, and I'm certianly not a part of their game. But I have a feeling that one these two jokesters are responsible for posting under my name. Why me? I suppose I should be flattered. And by the way, Barb -- the rumors you've helped spread are completely unfounded -- Anne is fine.
vanityfaire123 posts on 9/26/2005 6:26:36 PM stop bickering you two jt and brian there are other people in the world besides you to try helping out the vitims of the hurricanes. this may help to have you reset your priorites

Brian Baxter Smith posts on 9/25/2005 5:38:39 PM Uh...JT Have you read the messages listed 1-10, 11-20, 21-30 excetera ? Seems to me if you would have, you'd of figured out that the names on these messages ain't whose writing them. There are alot of supposed messages from Barb Franlin, but everyother one is rude and then the next asks for people to help victims of the flooding.. JT you should get a clue man
Barb Franklin posts on 9/23/2005 5:25:58 PM The post about the Elton John rhinestone glasses made me laugh. To help the victims of Katrina though, Anne Rice has suggested two addresses that whatever gift you could give, would be more than appreciated... St. Joseph Abby; St. Benedict, Louisiana, 70457. Help can be sent to the attention of Abbot Justin Brown. -- Also the earlier post naming Fr. Joseph P. Callipare; St. John Catholic Church; 303 So. Navy Blvd; Pensacola, Florida 32507
vanityfaire posts on 9/22/2005 10:27:23 PM I thought Anne Rice had gone into retirement from books after her last book Blodd canticle. or was she retiring the vampire and witches story line. Any how blood canticle was a horrible book. After mona Mayfair sleeps with half of her cousins she gets a terrible diease and is dying at a young and from her own careless choices of unprotected sex. She gets Quin Blackwood and Lestat how about that for a turn of the screw. YEs I am jealous but life goes on. Another day in the coal mines.
JT posts on 9/22/2005 6:14:25 PM Ms. Franklin I really don't appreciate you calling me a dummy. i'm a smart kid and that was mean.
Barb Franklin posts on 9/22/2005 2:46:30 AM Who here cannot wait for "Lestat" on broadway? I plan to reserve seats far in advance -- I just adore Elton John, always have been a huge fan (from "Rocket Man" to "The Lion King", nobody has pipes like Elton!). Should I wear my big glittery vintage sunglasses just for fun? <3
Brian Baxter Smith posts on 9/20/2005 7:23:09 PM Ebay has an uncorrected proof of Christ the Lord going for about $133.00. An Unsigned ARC sold for about $69.00; oh the possibilities of a signed ARC!
Barb Franklin posts on 9/20/2005 1:26:00 AM To make a donation to the victims of Hurricane Katrina you can send a gift in any amount to Father Joseph P. Callipare/ St. John Catholic Church/303 S. Navy Blvd/Pensacola, Florida 32057. He is taking in 42 evacuated children into his school. These kids have lost everything. No amount would be to small and it would be a terrific way to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Thank you.
