Hi all. Heh Jenny, I agree with you on this one ... there ain't no pole vaulting to be had in CCBB.
Does anyone know the location of the bridge that the spies tried to blow up? Been to the windmill, been to the duckpond, been to Hambledon, know where the sweet factory is ... but ou est le pont d'explosiveski ?

Well, I've seen the movie a lot lately, generally scanning it about once a day, and he does not ever jump over a hedge. The most energy he ever shows is a little hop in his step.

Okay maybe he didnt pole vault but I'm sure he jumped over a hedge. Perhaps you should watch the movie again. Like I said he shouts something. Do you know what it is?

This is a terrific site for response by wishfully helpful people however the script commonly posted unfortunately contains a virus that modern computers refuse to open. Perhaps you may have better success!!!!

There is a book called "Movies From the Mansion" that talks about the history of Pinewood Studios and of course talks about CCBB. Worth looking into.

Hi Sarah!
You shouldn't have any problem getting to any of the sites in the movie, except with the possibility of Pinewood Studios as I don't know what their policy is. They might have studio tours, I don't know. Even if the did have studio tours, the only thing you could really see would be the lawns, the little bridge, the fountain and that area for the swans because all the rest was just sets that were built and torn down later. Buckhamshire is a county just north of London and it is easy access though a lot of little back roads. I don't know how many CCBB fans go to all the places. Probably the windmill is the most obvious place folks want to see. Only the die-hard fans actually go to all the little places like the duck pond! Personally, I think there should be a CCBB vacation tour someday! Why not? They have SOUND OF MUSIC tours! A lot of the driving scenes of CCBB when they're singing "CCBB" are shot in France, tho, probably outside of St. Tropez. You can see the vineyards which don't exist in England. Definitely the sunnier shots are in France, but you can tell which shots are England and which are France also by the vegetation.
