Lys Sinclair posts on 9/23/2007 9:51:52 AM Just finished reading Cell and it was so amateurish you would have thought a kid had wrote it also it hadn't been proof read very well, so many mistakes, one previous reader wrote that it was like reading an adult Edith Blyton, I agree.

Gman posts on 9/1/2007 9:40:34 AM Just read my first Clon Forbes book - what can I say, so wierd it was nearly good. Different - yes entertaining - moderately, quality writing - Hummmmmmm! pass.
darrill posts on 8/30/2007 7:06:57 AM I have just read Blood Storm. Thank God I didn't pay for it! I can only recommend it be used as fire fuel.
Bunty Jackson posts on 8/17/2007 6:06:41 PM What I like best of all is that these exciting books are well written and have NO BAD LANGUAGE. I am sick to death of buying a book with a good story and finding it full of foul language. No-one can say that about Colin Forbes.
Greg Mellor posts on 8/17/2007 7:06:27 AM I finished reading Savage Gorge a few days ago and have just started Main Chance and I cannot believe how similar the story line is even to the extent of Tweeds attempted seduction by a female famly member, really it is basicly the same story with different names and places attached, Who does Colin Forbes think he is kidding we pay good money for his books and he turns out repeticious rubbish like this. Needless to say no more Colin Forbes books for me.
Sriram Polepeddi posts on 8/5/2007 6:41:26 AM I read COVER STORY recently. The tempo was built up well - but, the end was quite disappointing. And to wade through 566 pages of his story only to be disappointed at the end - can be a frustrating experience.
kerry posts on 7/29/2007 5:47:25 AM i just cant believe people are talking so badly of colin forbes writing. he might not be the best but i like the fact that his stories are simple to follow and he gets to the point. im sick of people writng books that the author thinks are clever when they are not. colin forbes is a brilliant author and i am sad he is dead, i will miss his works.
Nick Clark posts on 7/23/2007 10:29:38 AM Dear Sir I really enjoy your books, Tweed, Paula and the rest of the Tweed crew but I have just read Cauldron and I'm sorry to point out Culdrose was NOT an R.A F base but H.M.S Seahawk a Fleet Air Arm airfield a training base , Yes but also a base for Front line squandrons as well. I was on 820 Sqdn at the time Please keep writing about Tweed and the crew. Nick Clark
