Edward Rutherfurd Message Board

Beverley Johanson posts on 1/28/2013 12:22:29 AM Just looking at the cover of Edward Rutherford's new book in some promotional material and it's called Paris The Epic Novel of the City of Lights. Does Mr Rutherford know that Paris is called The City of Light and it has nothing to do with illumination, but everything to do with enlightenment.

Tom posts on 11/11/2008 9:34:24 PM I'm reading Sarum, I love it!!!! And I have The Forest and London waiting in the wings! I think he should do one on Canada!!!!!!
mary oaten posts on 2/5/2008 11:44:29 AM Does Mr. Rutherfurd ever read the message board? I would like to think he does so, and as so many people ask the same questions, he might even reply to them!
vicki shaw posts on 7/8/2007 3:12:28 PM I for one would love to see ER use Wales as a subject country. I am now reading Sarum, the only I have not read. It has been sitting on my coffee table for a year because after reading the second in the Irish sagas and knowing there was nothing new out there, I had to force myself to keep my hands off it for a while. Now I am relishing it!!!! Do I love ER better than chocolate? Probably cause chocolate would not last 24 hours in my house! Besides, it is not as rare is it. Vicki
mary oaten posts on 7/8/2007 11:26:11 AM Any one of Edward's wonderful books would lend themselves to serialising on TV, and would, I feel certain, attract large numbers of viewers. Is it likely that anyone might be willing to take on such a mammoth task? Expensive, yes, but well worth the outlay. Competition for the "Forsyte Saga"?
mary oaten posts on 1/8/2007 8:42:20 AM Is there anyone who might have an inkling of the subject of Edward's next book? He can't have run out of possibilities...the number is endless.
posts on 9/28/2006 12:15:16 PM I would like to know more about the west country - Devon, Cornwall, Somerset. Exmoor, Dartmoor, Tintagel, Torquay, Lands End, Exeter, Drake. It all seems perfect subject material for Mr. Rutherford
