G.A. McKevett Message Board

posts on 7/24/2006 1:55:32 AM By the way, I'm the "Anonymous" in the last post. Someday I'll get the hang of this. :)
posts on 7/23/2006 12:17:52 AM Thank you, Shannon. It was very nice of you to get in touch. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the series. It's fun to write, I must admit, but an even greater joy to hear from fans. Enjoy your summer. Hope you're staying cooler wherever you are than we are here in New York!
posts on 7/22/2006 9:28:52 AM Thanks for your books. I just started reading your Savanah Reid series and I LOVE IT. I am such a voracious reader that it is great when I find a series that can keep my attention. Keep up the fantasic work.

posts on 7/5/2006 9:41:23 PM Thank you, Susan! I wish I could invite all of you over to my home for the day. We'd have lemonade and margaritas and watch the swans swim in my backyard lake. And I'd be able to get to know every one of you. But since we can't, I'm happy for the message boards. They bring us closer together. We just have to sip some lemonade while we're posting, right? Or a mint julep. :)
posts on 7/5/2006 3:51:11 PM Sonja, I just finished Corpse Suzette, and I'm all caught up..at least until the next one is released! This series is one of my very favorites and I love each and every one of the characters. Thanks for all the hard work you put into these books. I can't wait for the next one! Susie
posts on 7/5/2006 3:02:31 PM Laura, So nice to hear from you. And welcome to the "mystery addiction." I'm glad I hooked you. As far as Savannah #12, the title is FAT FREE AND FATAL. The dirt? Here you go -- Movie star, Dona Papalardo was once a svelte beauty, adored by fans and critics alike. But when she gained some extra pounds, Hollywood shunned and ridiculed her. So she had gastric bypass surgery, shed the weight and is now poised for a comeback. But when her look-alike personal assistant is shot dead in the driveway of her art-deco mansion, wearing Dona's signature evening gown and furs, Dona hires Savannah to solve the murder and protect her...just in case the killer got it wrong and murdered the wrong woman. And when yet another victim falls, it's pretty obvious, somebody out there is determined that Dona's star won't rise again. Thanks for asking, Laura, and for the nice post. I appreciate it! :)
posts on 6/30/2006 10:07:07 PM Sonja, You typed on June 4 that you finished Savannah #12. (I will join the celebration of a bath and chocolates, when I get to read it) Give us some dirt! or at least the title. I only started reading your wonderful series a few months ago. I only have one left to read. I hope we don't have to wait long before the #12 hits the shelves. I had never read a mystery before your books. I am hooked. Thanks for the laughs!
posts on 6/21/2006 3:15:19 AM Jane, Sorry you had a hard time getting the website. It's still under my name, "sonjamassie." Some guy in Hong Kong nabbed my gamckevett domain out from under me and is holding it ransom. Instead of paying it, I've cursed parts of his anatomy. And being Irish, I know some pretty volatile curses. :) Let me know if you keep having problems. Sonja
posts on 6/20/2006 9:03:55 PM Hi Sonja, Do you have your own website anymore. I have tried going to the one that I used to have listed for you, but it doesn't seem to work anymore. Jane
posts on 6/20/2006 12:46:26 PM Thank you for your site. I have found here much useful information...
