well I see someone is saying that joyce never was real. well let me ask you this...how could she be fake when she published ellens diary my life at rose red????

Sorry to break it to you all, but Joyce Reardon is a fictional character. Stephen King wrote the book, and said the house is based on the Winchester House.

What happen to Joyce? After publishing the diary of ellen rimbauer and doing a study at rose red,did she come out of rose red okay? did she die? because I havent heard anything new come out of her at all. I am just wondering what all happend when she took her team in the house. I watched the movie and I have just bought the book and I now do believe that its real. I thought it was fake until I found out about the book and everything. I am hoping to hear back from someone who might know what happened to joyce. How how her study went in rose red.

Is Joyce dead? I mean, Rose Red, the miniseries, was based on Joyce's expiditon and the diary, (which I just bought) and Joyce dies in the miniseries, did she die in real life?

My husband and I finally watched the movie and thought that it was pretty interesting. Then I watched the extras and found out that this was based on facts.... This is incredible. What i want to know is... what actually happened when Joyce went in with her team to investigate?! Did she get the info that she wanted? And is Rose Red still standing, or did it really get torn down?
My husband and I are really curious.

We live in an old home built in early 1900's.Been here a year and a half My self and son and grand son have seen a little girl here. She appears to be about 6, with long brown hair and a long blue dress.She is friendly tho she laughs but never speaks. I am very interested and wish I coul learn more about who she may be, any ideas?

I swear the imagination can be a dangerous thing. People only hear what they want to hear. NOT once did they say in ANY part of the books OR the movies was it true. It was written by STEPHEN KING. He pulled a good hoax a few years ago and claimed he got killed in a accident but in reality he was just hurt bad. I NEVER belive anything until I do research on it.
