Judith McNaught Message Board

posts on 6/30/2006 8:37:39 AM After reading the post by Marjorie Cocjin,I have to agree. With those four 18th century good old boys and the bad guys not knowing how big a tigar they have by the tail when they kidnap 4 witty spitfire women like Whitney and company, It would make a story that can't miss. I hope JM will consider it, she's the best.
posts on 6/29/2006 7:30:22 PM Hi, Im located in Australia, I am unable to buy a copy of WATER'S EDGE by Judith McNaught. Two things, has this book actually been published, and if so, does anyone know where I can purchase one online ? Thanks Amanda
posts on 6/27/2006 10:47:57 PM I absolutely love JM's books, what i find very interesting, is how many authors will actually steal her ideas and scenes, and emulate them so closely. It seems a little blatant to me... anyway... I just wanted to add that Marsha Canham is also an excellent writer with rich characters, very good books, for those who were asking.

posts on 6/27/2006 8:52:07 PM The 1st book I read of JM'S was Until You and I thought it was AMAZING. The way she writes is so impressive. I've so far read Whitney, My Love, Kingdom of Dreams, Almost Heaven (I LOVED Ian), and I just started Something Wonderful. Her books are sooo hard to put down! They're exciting, hilarious, and extremely well-written. She inspires me 2 keep writing. I hope that my book will me half as good as hers. All I can say is her books are AWESOME!
posts on 6/27/2006 8:00:45 PM This message is for Pam. Another Author that has a great sense of humor and wonder books is Johanna Lindsey. Her style of writing is very much like Judith McNaught's and Julie Garwood's. I love all of JM's books. It's a toss up which one I love the most but, Whittney My Love, Kingdom of Dreams and Alomost Heaven are wonderful. Paradise and Perfect are of course my favorite contemporary romance novels written by her. mbs
posts on 6/27/2006 1:57:37 PM Judith McNaught's books are all wonderful. My favorite of hers will always be Double Stancards. I also love Tender Triumph as well. Like I said, I love all her books, but these two are special.
posts on 6/25/2006 5:38:55 AM I've been daydreaming about a combined book. :) It would be great if there was a book featuring Clayton, Jason, Jordan and Stephen since they're all friends in Until You. It would probably be very hard to write since they are all different and dynamic and yet... so... similar at the same time. Of course if you've got the guys, you'll also have to have the girls, and the girls, well... they're very fiesty in their own way, and extremely fun, endearing, exciting to read but I guess they could give an author a hard time if they had to be put together. So you've got 8 characters of Judith who are very powerful in themselves but... imagine what it would be like to have them together! I told my room mate once if ever Judith wrote a 1000 page novel about the eight of them, that would be something else. Maybe all four ladies would be kidnapped and well, what reaction do you expect from 2 dukes, one marquie and an earl? Well the bad guys had better number about a hundred... a hundred ARMED bad guys... a hundred ARMED BAD guys with an impenetrable FORT hopefully. From what I know about Clayton, Jordan, Stephen and Jason, they can get pretty mad when you mess around with what they consider 'theirs.' ;p
posts on 6/23/2006 9:12:16 AM I have read all of JM"s books (favs are Paradise and Almost Heaven) and now I'm trying to find another author to read that is similar to Judith. I also really like Julie Gardwood and have read all of her books too. Can anyone recommend another author or book?
posts on 6/21/2006 2:07:10 AM I have been an avid reader of Judith McNaught since I fell upon Until You in HighSchool. I own all of them and re-read them all... mostly becasue they are that amazing but also becasue no matter how hard I try I cant find another romance writer who can match her. If anyone knows of any books that can come close to a JM book let me know! My JM books are getting worn out. Also I agree with the post above... I truly wish Judith McNaught would write another book like Paradise, Perfect (which are the most fabulous) or Whitney My Love... I miss them...
posts on 6/20/2006 10:44:48 AM Paradise the book written by Judith Mcnaught is the most fantastic modern day romantic novel i have ever read. The characters in the book Matt and Meredith are sensational. The book is so good i keep going back to read it over and over. Anybody out there reading this message and you have not yet read this book get your hands on a copy as soon as you can!
