posts on 10/10/2006 9:56:26 AM Thought I'd share experience only other fans would appreciate. Was recovering from surgery a couple of weeks ago,not able to do much but read. Back to old favorites & reread Whitney and rest of JMcN's regencies (I've been off historicals for years, reading contemporary romance, mysteries mostly). But these stand for all time I think - among best ever written of that genre. You come to know & feel deeply for characters; the tempo to crescendo of joy, then conflict & despair, ending with reconciliation and deeper commitment makes for as good a read for the 10th time as for the 1st. Great restorative powers!
posts on 10/9/2006 6:14:34 PM Laura, thanks for getting back to me. I am so disappointed because I was really hooked from that excerpt. Maybe one day in the future she'll feel she can finish it. It also explains why "Someone to watch over me" was not really up to her usual standards. We usually have to wait so long for her to release a book and then fall so in love with her hero that it seems worth it, that was not. I didn't hate it, it just wasn't Vintage JM. "Every Breath You Take" was well and truly worth the wait. Mitch was a combination of Nick from DS and Ian from AH. I fell in love from the moment they met. This was her best work since "Remember When".
posts on 10/9/2006 3:52:28 PM Any release date yet for her next novel "can't take my eyes off of you" I don't have the new version of ebyt, so I didn't see the new excerpt. If any one else has, would you be so kind as to give me a little info. Thanks!

posts on 10/8/2006 7:03:03 AM Dear Mickey, I read some time ago that Ms. Mcnaught lost her husband when she was writting that book so she left it unfinished, quite understandable I think. In my opinion she is not going to publish it which is a pity for us. I'm sorry.
posts on 10/7/2006 10:15:40 AM I have read ALL of JM's book, unfortunately I have only 7 of her books, it is hard to look for her books these days.... My ultimate favorite is Once and Always...the story is sooo perfect. No other author could compare to JM...
posts on 10/3/2006 1:28:42 PM Does anyone remember the book that was supposed to come out a couple of years ago and never did? There was an excerpt in Night Whispers about a modern woman who wound up in the past in a Scottish Castle after a car accident. What happened to that book. I was on a waiting list and it never came out.
posts on 10/2/2006 5:39:31 PM Just read the paper back of her latest, Every Breath You Take was absolutely wonderful. Can't wait for the next one, which I believe is Can't Take My Eyes Off of You. This was in the bonus in the paper back of the last novel. Loving it! I am absolutely thrilled that she finished off the story of Mitchell and Kate.
posts on 9/28/2006 9:02:52 AM OMG, i'm so glad shes got a new book out, can't wait to get my hands on it.
posts on 9/24/2006 6:30:28 PM actually her latest book is "Every Breath I Take" and you get to meet Matt, Meredith, Zack and Julie again from Perfect and Almost Paradise As always a great read. THANK YOU JUDITH, I LOVE YOUR BOOKS AND I'VE READ THEM ALL MORE THEN ONCE
posts on 9/22/2006 4:49:29 PM I don't think she is actually writing anything at the moment. 'Someone to watch over me' was the most recent novels to be out (slightly dissapointing.) Hopefully we won't have to wait a long time before she starts writing again.
