Linda Berdoll Message Board

plnorth posts on 2/14/2007 2:19:55 PM I just finished Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife and was completely entertained. Poor Darcy and Elizabeth learned so much about the people they loved. Wickham and Lydia were hilarious in their attempts to one up each other. I was shocked at Bingley's behavior and more shocked at Jane's attitude about it all. The humor was just as I like it. Lydia being happy about being able to mourn her father and husband in the same year. Lydia finding Wickham with her lovers time and time again. Wickham going to war so he wouldn't have to be around Lydia. Lady Catherine having an affair with a footman. Elizabeth shooting at Lady Catherine. It was all priceless. I loved this book!!
Paulette Trail posts on 2/8/2007 12:03:08 AM Does anyone have an official web site for Linda Berdoll? Books/CD reading of these books would be perfect. I know that I could get our library system to purchase them. Paulette in Atlanta
Marisela Campas posts on 1/6/2007 7:56:24 PM Loved both these books and have reread them twice. Would love to see a third book that explores more of Col. Fitzwilliam & Georgiana relationship.

MargieBell posts on 1/2/2007 9:52:32 PM KAS....yes Mrs. Berdoll came on about 5 months ago I believe or maybe a little longer and said she had signed a contract but gave no further information. So, who know how far along it really is. I'm not sure if she had even started writing it at that point or was just starting. Guess we'll all just have to wait and see....darn!! Wish someone would come and tell us what's going on instead of us just guessing. BUT, can hardly wait for it to come out.
kas posts on 1/2/2007 7:30:54 PM I was looking everywhere to see if she was going to do a third book. so she did sign a contract for a third sequel? so we just don't know when it's coming out?
Donna Henry posts on 12/27/2006 4:05:42 PM Have read both books and want more. Would love to see made into a movie but only with Colin Firth playing Mr. Darcy.
MargieBell posts on 12/18/2006 3:03:08 PM I wonder if anyone has asked Mrs. Berdoll when we might except the 3rd book. I know it has been several months since she told us she had just signed the contract but gave no hints on where she was in the process. Just getting started or through writing and proof reading. Would save everyone's nerves to have a hint. I can hardly wait...wouldn't it have made a wonderful Christmas Present...lol. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A WONDERFUL NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!
Christina posts on 12/18/2006 2:47:30 PM Both are exceptional and of such that I can open to any page and happily find my Darcy fix! If there should ever be a film made, Matthew Macfadyen has to be Darcy-- I love his voice and subtle reserve for this character. I can't wait to read the next book! I'm addicted and getting all my friends on the bent!
korina posts on 12/1/2006 2:10:07 AM As I am very excited to hear of another installment to the Darcy & Elizabeth story, I would like to see Ms. Berdoll do the same for other famous romance stories, especially - Emma;Jane Eyre;Mansfield Park ect...
Donna posts on 11/17/2006 11:13:03 PM I wish to see a 3rd book printed in behalf of Pride and Prejudice and the Darcy's! Hopefully Colonel Fitzwilliam & Gerogiana's characters will take on an exciting drama and poor Jane and Bingley shall discover the unexplored, hidden passions that have eluded them in their bedroom. A marriage vow renewal in a grandios fashion would be magnificent for the Darcy's because their first one seemed a bit skimpy for both couples! I think Colin Firth is the perfect Mr. Darcy and I hope that should a sequel to the movie ever come to fruition that he should play the part again. He has aged very well indeed!
