Livia! This is Chris from your class at Lehman College a few years ago ... I hope all is well this holiday season. I see that your new book will be available on Amazon and other sites in August 2009. I will keep an eye out for it! Thanks again for everything, and continue to write! :)

I have read your book for my 7th grade reading unit. I was extremely horrified by what you were made do : eat dirt bread, drink swamp water, eat worms, ect. I was in disbelief of what Hitler mad you do. I re-read every part of the book to really understand the cruelty you went through. I was glad that ending happened that way.But the way you described Bubi, a mere moving skeleton was a molesting, and thorough mental image. It total i think that your book deserved many more awards than you recieved. I adore your style of writing, eventhough some part were hard to read.
Way to go
Amanda ( 7th grade)

I luv your book I Have Lived A Thousand Years!! My English class is reading it now. I got done with it 7 days early!!!!! It was such an AMAZING book!!!! I can't believe that you went through all of that!! That's so hard to believe and so scary!! I still wonder why in your book you went to America but now you live in Israel. Did you ever see the guard again?? Did you ever get your poems back??
