About the good - that's why i think it's highly plausible for there to be a next generation of dotm, we just won't know about it. (: It does look like she'll be writing SOI for a while. I read the first one recently & wasn't too impressed. I did like the added mystery, not so much of what will happen next but of the questions unanswered in the first. The mummy, carter and ex boyfriend.

You right again, but don't forget about the good in the universe. So do you think that Lynne Ewing wiil write more about SOI or do you think that that series wiil be a mess-up to? * I'm a big fan to I felt he same way when I found out that there was a 13th one also.

Seemed to be Catty's dad. But i don't believe it was a way to continue the series. Just a semi-realistic way to portray the fact that you can't destroy all evil. It'll always exist. They destroyed the atrox, and closed the portals. Some escaped, and some were already in our plane of existence - so it'll always continue.

I don't think it was her plan to kill off the SOD that way, but after the series was canceled she had to fit it all in together.

Same here!! Do you think that it was right to kill the SOD in book 13? and why did Vanessa see that shadow looking a little more dense?

I want to scream TELL ME MORE! The 13th book can not be the last book it just can't be. What about Catty's dad maybe getting out, and Vanessa seeing that shadow at the end of the book. Also what about all those other Followers that were not in Nefedus at the time Catty killed the Atrox?
