In the answers to the fanletter that the Sounis group at Livejournal sent off, she said there will be another book in the Thief series, but she might write something else first. :)

I really doubt that she would give out her email address. I wouldn't if I was such a good author. I'd get too many emails lol!

i doubt it. i mean, there were some threads hanging. for one, is SOPHOS ALIVE? the situation with the medes is getting more tense... that's the thing, is that she could have ended after queen of attolia, because everything was cleaned up, but she left some loose ends after KoA.

I FINALLY got to read "King"! YAYAYAYAYAYA! It was AWEsome.
I totally agree about what the previous poster said abuot Gen. He is SO annoying that it's endearing. He's also very clever, and yuo never really know what's going on in his head. There's always a surprise coming when he's around. Lol!
Was this the last "Thief" book?

I finished KoA last night... and when I read the last line ("He is the king of kings."), I began to writhe in anguish on my bed, becasue I must, I MUST know what happens to Gen and Irene next!
I tried moving on to another book (Artemis Fowl, another series I love, but now not as much as MWT's series), but I just couldn't move on. Its was like... er... breaking up with a guy. You know how you just can move on too quickly? Well, yes, that's how it is for me now. I have to know what happens next.
Yes, I was quite disappointed that so little focus was put of Gen and Co., but i see that it would be so much easier to see the king from a differnet point of view. I felt like I was there with Costis. Seeing the king from his eyes only made us see the vulnerability, and some of the things that the other Attolians didn't like about Gen. Yes, he's arrogant, vain, and sometimes petty, but you see, behind all that, that he is someone so brilliant and clever and witty that you just HAVE to love Gen.
And I especially loved the parts where the king and queen show a tenderness that is rarely seen throughout the books. The kiss in the garded was one of my most favorite scenes, along with that part where the queen faints at Gen's bedside, and Gen says "Fainting at the sight of blood? Not my queen" (or sometihng along those lines), and someone tells him "At the sight of YOUR blood, Your Majesty." You have to just adore their romance, bacuse it is so original. It's not your usual love story.

My 6th grade class is doing an author report this month and I decided to do mine on Megan Whalen Turner. She is a great author and I would reccommend her to anybody that wants to read an adventerous book

I'm still waiting 4 this book to come to me @ the library,(yah...the library...I don't got much money) so I haven't read it yet. I check my library account every day to see if it's waiting for me, and it HASN'T COME IN YET!
I'll be astonished if I have any hair left by the time I get this book. I still can't believe how much I liked th first two books. There's always an unexpected surprise at the end.
Did all of you buy your books?

Come on! Haven't you ever fallen for a shorter guy? I'd be suspicious if Gen liked a girl shorter than him.

It was dissapointing to read through Costis' eyes at first, but then I got used to it. I really enjoy the way Turner writes, suspence and all that. Does anyone know her address? (obviosly not her real address, I wanted to know if she has a PO address.) I am more of a letter writer than an emailer. thanks.
In every book, I think gen spends half of it in bed!
THe only thing that bothers my a tiny bit about the K and Q of A is that she is taller than him! Even though they are perfect for each other. Do you think a little attolia will be coming along? after all, they do keep talking about an "heir".
