tom posts on 2/14/2012 12:06:17 PM i think a film or mini series adaption of Magaician could be seriously amazing, if it was done right it would kick ass, look at how well they have done Game of Thrones recently, i also agree Raymonds last 3,4 mayb 5 books have not been up to standard, lazy, slightly boring, same formula, i just havent enjoyed them as much to be honest, ahh well i can always read Magician again! :)
Sparky posts on 4/12/2011 8:33:52 PM I have the single edition of Feist's Magician - leather bound. I also had it signed by Feist at the Melbourne visit. It seems to sell for about 400 pounds when it ever goes on sale. I am looking to sell mine for around 450 aussie dollars. If anyone is interested, please email me at tilljamesmusic at gmail dot com, otherwise it will hit ebay... Cheers!
Julie posts on 3/10/2011 12:17:17 AM Thank you! I will email them. I appreciate all the helpful information!

Jeff posts on 2/23/2011 6:26:06 AM I actually own a leather bound copy of Magician (single volume, not the US based 2 volume set)- yes it did exist. ISBN 0 00 713411 8 I believe there were 5000 printed worldwide, it came with a pre-printed signature and i have it also signed by Ray himself, when he visited Melbourne, Australia some time ago. He commented that he had not seen many in Australia, and most of the queue I waiting in had never seen one. Sorry mine is not for sale, probably never will be. Rays novels got me into the genre! Hope you find one out there, you many wish to contact the guys at crydee dot com - i think they had one for sale (a few years ago).
Julie posts on 2/4/2011 6:10:14 PM If anyone knows where to find the special edition of Magician: Apprentice and Master, leather bound (which I believe I heard was printed in the UK?) I would be extremely thankful!
Baru posts on 12/11/2010 4:41:46 PM Katherine: Special Edition There was a special edition of Magician released years ago - it was a leather bound book - a really nice show piece. You would have to look on ebay or other auction sites to find it now though, it was a limited edition and I think they were personally autographed (???). Other than that the only special editions are the "Author's preferred edition" of Magician:Apprentice and Magician:Master - and these are the only ones they sell now so they are not that special anymore :)
dirk posts on 3/19/2010 3:57:02 AM he used to rock but his latest novels are lazy, with plot errors and inconsistencies with earler novels (erik von darkmoor never married?) like he doesnt think it matters. ive lost interest from talon of a silverhawk onwards, because it feels like he's not trying. i also doubt he has an end to the series planned while people keep buying
Scorp_nz posts on 3/12/2010 8:03:37 AM Yeah im 30 now but back when i was 15 odd i was never interested in reading til my mate said i should read this book magician before i knew it i was in the library tkaing out silverthorne and battle for sethanon.. I too would like to see this on the screen with the right director of course!!
Jeff Reddy posts on 2/16/2010 10:49:13 PM The only special edition is the Authors preferred.
Katherine posts on 2/16/2010 7:46:57 PM Hi I'm really really hoping someone on here can help me. My boyfriend is a big fan of Raymond E. Feist and he was recently talking about the Riftwar series. He was talking about Magician and a special edition book that was put out. My confusion is over whether there was a special edition put out of all the Riftwar books together or was it just the one Magician book that was re-published as a special edition. From my understanding, there was Magician: The Author's Preferred Edition and I'm wondering if this is what he was talking about or if there's another book that is compilation of books. I've been researching and the closest I can find is the Magician Author's Preferred Edition or a box set of all the Riftwar books. If ANYONE can help me, I'd greatly appreciate it so I can buy him this as a surprise gift. Thanks. :-D ~Katherine
