S. Morgenstern is a pseudonym Goldman used for two of his books. I am also amazed at the number of times I've been told by someone that "I know a guy who read the original version." Everyone knows a guy - no one's actually seen the mythical "Unabridged" Morgenstern edition (but that's probably just because it doesn't exist).
