posts on 5/2/2006 9:04:19 PM I just started reading "Perks". I'm only 73 pages into it and already i've had to try not to cry because it reminds me so much of my own life. I can really relate to this book. Thank you, Stephen, for writing such a great book. You will influence so many people and have a deep impact on my life.

Lauryn posts on 3/30/2006 1:27:07 PM can he please write another book? the perks... was amazing, and i would love to read more by him!
Dave posts on 3/20/2006 11:37:38 AM yeah its fantastic. I would LOVE to get in touch with Steve, anybody know of an email address for his publisher or anything at all?
Kyle posts on 3/16/2006 8:00:20 PM The Perks of Being a Wallflower has inspiried me to write my own book. The impact it had on me was more dramatic than any single event I can recall. Because of this book, I chose life over suicide. I realize this message is brief, and lacks emotion, but I'd really like to talk to Mr. Chbosky, if there is a way, I'd be forever in debt to those who showed me. I have many questions that require answering. Thank you, Kyle Mitchell -Waldport Oregon.
Caroline posts on 2/27/2006 7:49:25 PM I just watched Rent too, cause its my favorite movie and i watch it alot. And Perks is my favorite book in the world! So i ask myself, is stephen chbosky responsable for everything good in my life?
janet posts on 2/27/2006 3:02:12 PM Steve... just saw Rent and noticed your name... write back if you get a chance been trying to re-kindle old high school friendships
Caroline posts on 2/17/2006 5:21:17 PM Paul-I think he was in the hospital because when he was getting close to Sam, it came back to him that his aunt had sexually assaulted him when we was yound and they would stay up watchign the tv together, and so he just had a breakdown
Taylor posts on 2/16/2006 10:02:16 PM Paul, though i'm not sure, i think that he was in the hostpital because his surpressed memories all came back to him when sam got close to him - they had been coming back gradually if you remember the party when he took lsd, and his psychiatrist kept asking him about his childhood- and it finally came back and he had a psychological attack... i think... like he had right after his aunt died.... that's how i took it anyway... could be wrong...
