Susan Rogers Cooper posts on 12/6/2005 10:40:47 AM I'd like to thank Annie and Nancy for their comments on Milt. I'm kind of excited, too, about a new one - so excited in fact that I'm a hundred pages into the next Milt. The old boy just won't shut up!! And I just read what I posted earlier about the barber shop incident, and I totally forgot it when I started the new book! I'll have to put it in somewhere though! Happy holidays to all and may the new year bring us peace.
Annie posts on 12/4/2005 12:07:55 PM Hi Susan very happy to hear that Milt will be back. Love this series also. I have missed your books. I check everytime I'm at the book store which is about once a week! Your one of the few authors I "buy"! A very Happy Holiday Season to all. Annie
Nancy posts on 12/4/2005 1:50:50 AM I've been wating for another book with Milt and am thrilled to hear he's coming back in 2006. Yeah

Susan Rogers Cooper posts on 9/21/2005 2:57:23 PM Joe, you're right, very funny. Except -- I was in a barbershop the other day for my new grandson to get his first haircut, and I heard something that has GOT to be the opening scene of the next Milt! I have no idea what the story is about, but, by golly, I have the opening scene!
Joe Burkholder posts on 9/20/2005 9:21:28 PM VEGAS NERVE sounds like it'll be a BLAST, and that's just based off the title! Any plans for the next novel, Susan? (I know... "I JUST finished one! Whaddaya want frome me?!" LOL)
Susan Rogers Cooper posts on 9/19/2005 12:47:07 PM Sandra - the newest Milt, VEGAS NERVE, just went to my editor, I am happy to say. I can't give you a date right now, but I think it's safe to say it will be out in 2006.
Sandra posts on 9/17/2005 2:56:04 PM At the Lansing Il library the"Murder In The Stacks" book group will meet Wed Sept 21 to discuss the author "Susan Rogers Cooper". Anything I can add to our discussion, information etc. Thanks Sandra
Susan Rogers Cooper posts on 5/26/2005 12:32:03 PM No news on the Milt front - still waiting. Will let you know. Best, Susan
Joe Burkholder posts on 5/24/2005 7:01:00 PM Hey Susan, Just felt I had to dust off the cobwebs and see if there is any news on the new Milt novel...I hope everything is going smootly, or at least as smoothly as possible. Take care! Joe
Susan Rogers Cooper posts on 1/13/2005 11:22:48 AM Joe, I've been having trouble w/ my computer and didn't get some of your messages, so I'm going to reply to them all at once. "Barbequed Bimbo" is a Kimmey Kruse short story, and "Family Tradition" is a stand-alone. "Ghost Busted" appears in MURDER THEY WROTE II, edited by Elizabeth Foxwell and Martin H. Greenberg (Boulevard Books, NY, 1998), and I know "Family Tradition" was another of Marty Greenberg's but I can't remember the name of the collection, and I can't remember where "Barbequed Bimbo" appeared, but if you look my name up on the web there is a bibliography that should tell you. W/ my computer the way it is right now, I can't keep this going and look that up at the same time. Sorry. As far as I know LYING WONDERS audio should be available. You might try a website for Lonestar Books on Tape - they're the publisher. If you have trouble, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Hope you have a great new year! Best, Susan
