The movie 'Armageddon' is directed by Michael Bay and was first released in 1998. It was one of the best science fiction movies at that time. Main actor Bruce Willis is an oil driller who is hired by NASA to lead two teams on an emergency space mission to destroy a big asteroid which is about to crash on Earth and destroy all creature. They have to drill an 800 foot hole into that asteroid to place a bomb into it. It will divide the asteroid into two parts which will pass over our planet and save us.

Best part of story, including ending: A big asteroid is coming to destroy us all. Our only hope is those two funny and crazy team. You must watch it.

Best scene in story: When one of team member has to stay behind and trigger the bomb manually, it was our main character who decided to sacrifice for all of us.

Opinion about the main character: The main actor Bruce is a family caring person, and yet so responsible to sacrifice himself for Earth.

A massive meteor is ripping through our solar system heading straight for us, big enough to wipe out all life on Earth, it must be stopped. Harry and his men must first get to the meteor in order to drill a hole deep enough to drop a bomb down in, hoping it will stop the threat.

An asteroid the size of Texas is on a collison course with Earth. As smaller fragments impact around the world, NASA sends up a team of deep-core drillers with one mission: drill a hole 800 feet into the asteroid's crust and drop a H-bomb there.

Bruce Willis leads a team of drill experts, including rebellious Ben Affleck, on a NASA mission to destroy a massive asteroid headed for Earth. Comic-book adventure, but excellently crafted.
