Jake Lonergan (Daniel Craig) awakes in the desert with no memory and a strange bracelet attached to his wrist. He goes into town and sees Percy Dolarhyde, son of Woodrow Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford) bullying locals and beats him up. Soon, he's knocked over the head by Ella (Olivia Wilde), and passes out.

Woodrow rides into town with a posse to kill Lonergan, but soon the town is attacked by mysterious spaceships in the sky. As the invasion mounts, Dolarhyde, Lonergan and Ella are forced to team up to save mankind from the alien race.
