Best part of story, including ending:
The story has a very relatable theme, given the state of the world these days. It talks about the dangers of elitism, class warfare, over population, and pollution while still managing to entertain its audience.
Best scene in story:
After Max discovers wakes up and discovers he has radiation poisoning a robot walks into the room and drops him some pills and tells him that he has 5 days to live. The way the scene is shot gives you a good idea about the forces at work in this world and it's utterly jarring and cold to witness.
Opinion about the main character:
Max does what he must to survive but still takes into account the needs of others and never sacrifices his morals for selfish reasons.
