Detailed plot synopsis reviews of Kronos

A group of the world's top scientists observe an asteroid heading for the Earth. When the military is notified, nuclear missiles are sent to blow it up. To everyone's shock, the asteroid withstands the nuclear assault. It plunges into the Pacific off the coast of Mexico. Beautiful Vera Hunter and handsome Dr. Leslie Gaskell head to Mexico to study the asteroid. Vera and Leslie are in love, except he is too distracted by his science to pay attention to his girlfriend. He is harboring a suspicion that the object underwater is no asteroid but an alien spaceship.

Soon his nightmare comes to life, as a colossal tri-pod emerges from the waters of the Pacific and starts sucking the Earth of all of its energy. Soon it's named Kronos after the mythological monster. Meanwhile, another scientist – Dr. Hubbell Eliot – is controlled by an alien force and forced to sabotage all the human efforts to stop Kronos. When Leslie and Vera manage to free Dr. Eliot from alien mind control, Dr. Eliot shares his intimate knowledge of the invaders' purpose. Apparently, these aliens have learned to convert energy to matter. As a result of this scientific breakthrough, their civilization squandered all of their energy resources. Now they sent Kronos to our planet to harvest all of its energy until nothing is left. To make matters worse the Pentagon is trying to kill Kronos by bombarding it with more nuclear weapons, which only makes it grow stronger and bigger. Will Dr. Gaskell and the future Mrs. Gaskell be able to stop Kronos?
